Sponsor bug
A sponsor bug is a small, persistent on-screen logo — usually tucked into a top corner — that acknowledges a partner or sponsor while the show runs. The word "bug" is broadcast slang for a small, semi-permanent on-screen graphic (channel logos are bugs too).
A good sponsor bug is subtle: sized to read as "presented by" rather than to dominate the frame, kept within the title-safe area, and consistent in position. Because it's an overlay, it can be brought on for the show and taken off for full-screen moments, and multiple sponsors can be rotated on a timer so each gets clean exposure.
