OMUL

OMUL — Overlay Mark-up Language — is Show Runner's declarative markup for authoring custom overlays. Instead of a bespoke code file per graphic, an overlay is described as a single readable document with three parts: the elements on screen (text, shapes, images), a timeline for the entrance and exit animation, and controls — the fields the author exposes (a name, a colour, a logo) that feed live values in through {{key}} substitution.

It's what powers custom overlays in the overlay studio: you can import a supplied sample, edit its OMUL into a bespoke version, and expose your own controls — all without altering the original template. The finished overlay behaves like any other, producing a single URL for a browser source in OBS or vMix. See the guide on building custom overlays with OMUL.
