Running order

A running order is the ordered list of everything that happens in a show, with durations and cues, that the whole team works from. It's the plan and the single source of truth: the director, operators and presenter all read the same list, so nobody is guessing what comes next.

In the United States it's usually called a rundown — the two words mean the same thing. Each row is an item (a live segment, a VT, a graphic, a break) with a duration and any cues the gallery needs. Summing the durations gives the show's total runtime, and back-timing to any hard outs tells you when each item must start.
